Alia Bhatt's Mangalsutra, Kaleere, And Mehendi Have An 'Infinity' Bond With Husband Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt's mangalsutra and kalire are inspired by Ranbir Kapoor.

Alia Bhatt married her beau Ranbir Kapoor in a romantic ceremony at their Mumbai home. For the event, the pair chose a Sabyasachi gown in white and gold. While Alia looked stunning in the ivory saree, various themes and symbolism in her wedding gown were subtle allusions to her relationship with Ranbir, making the ensemble stand out. Fans are aware that the number 8 and the symbol of infinity play an important role in the couple's relationship. Alia used it not just in her mehendi, but also in her kaleere and mangalsutra.

Alia wore a mangalsutra with black beads and a gold chain. A teardrop diamond pendant with an infinity symbol in gold is also included in the jewelry. Alia included the sign into the kaleere as well. Alia customized the traditional kaleere with the shapes of clouds, stars, and the moon. A butterfly was also seen swinging down the kaleere in a photograph.

As if that wasn't enough, Alia incorporated it into her Mehendi. When she went out with her husband to greet the paparazzi, the cameras recorded the actress' Mehendi, which highlighted the infinity symbol placed in the middle of her right palm.

Alia's huge wedding ring, in addition to the infinity symbols, received a lot of attention. In the photograph, the actress was seen wearing a diamond solitaire. The ring was also visible in another photo of the couple cutting their wedding cake.

Alia accessorised her look with gold jewellery by Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery to match the gold embroidery on her white organza saree made by renowned couturier Sabyasachi. The actress is accessorised with a gorgeous necklace, jhumkas, and bangles. Alia's bridal jewellery was made entirely of uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls. The actress wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style that complemented her statement crowning matha patti.

On Thursday, the actress posted photos from her modest wedding ceremony on Instagram, along with the statement, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home... in our favourite spot — the balcony we've spent the previous five years of our love – we got married." Alia expressed her thanks for all of the support she received from fans, family members, and friends.

"We got married today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home... on our favourite area — the balcony where we've spent the previous 5 years of our love." We can't wait to make more memories together... memories full of love, laughing, comfortable silences, movie evenings, amusing arguments, wine joys, and Chinese nibbles. Thank you for all of your love and light at this difficult period in our life. It has added to the significance of this occasion. "Love, Ranbir and Alia," she wrote in the caption.
