The Heart Speaks Louder

Listening Beyond Logic

A glowing anatomical heart floats amid colorful social media icons on a gradient background, surrounded by soundwave-like lines.

Your brain is a lawyer. Your heart is a rockstar. Guess which one actually makes you feel alive?

The brain shows up with spreadsheets, probabilities, and all the reasons why you should play it safe. The heart? It kicks the door open in leather boots, grabs a mic, and screams, “This is what you were born to do!” And you can roll your eyes all you want, but deep down, you know the rockstar’s right.

Here’s the problem, we have been brainwashed into worshipping logic. Logic says get a safe job, buy boring insurance, and retire when you are too old to do the fun stuff. Logic says don’t embarrass yourself, don’t take risks, and don’t, God forbid, actually enjoy yourself. Logic is like that boring friend who orders plain toast at a five-star restaurant.

Meanwhile, your heart is like, “Order the damn pizza, start the business, kiss the pain, book the trip, write the book, launch the thing. You’re not here for mediocrity.”

And you know what? The heart speaks and doesn’t care if you fail. Fail gloriously, fail loudly, fail while dancing in sequins, the heart is still proud of you. Because failing while following your heart feels about 10,000 times better than succeeding at something that bores you to death.

Here’s the truth bomb: Your heart is always going to outshout your brain eventually. You can ignore it, numb it, scroll it away, but one day, it’s going to start screaming like a toddler in a candy aisle. And you’ll have two choices: cave in gracefully, or crash and burn trying to pretend you don’t hear it.

So, do yourself a favor. Stop letting your brain’s PowerPoint presentation run your life. Hand the mic back to your heart. Yeah, it’s louder. Yeah, it’s scarier. But it’s also the only damn voice that actually wants you to live instead of just survive.

Mic drop.
